Most of us don’t relish the coming of the dark days of winter. But they have their own riches, invitations to rest, lie fallow, look after ourselves, dream new dreams. Time spent in darkness encourages us to journey inwards, think about living with mystery. And, just at the darkest point point of the year, we celebrate the arrival of the small, unquenchable Light of the World.
